Entrapment binders are vinyl binders and usually made as three ring binders. Vinyl binders have two pieces of vinyl sealed around rigid chipboard (typically 110pt minimum thickness). For the entrapment process, we print sheets four color process on a high quality digital press. Sheets are then permanently sealed into the panels of the binders as it is constructed.
Sealing in the sheets as the binder is made allows the sheets to be sealed very close to the edge of the panels – this gives your binder a more customized look than a Clearview Binder, which can look more like a homemade effort if you don’t use the right type of paper, digital press and size it correctly.
Having the sheets permanently inserted also prevents the sheets from becoming out of center, or tilted as they sometimes can in a Clearview pocket.
